Ms. Karen Kadar

Karen Kadar is the Assistant Band Director for the High School Marching Band. It is also her duty to teach elementary students in grades 5 and 6 about their individual instruments, rhythm, pitch, and prepare them for Middle School band.
Ms. Kadar has 5 years of experience at the Diocese of Pittsburgh, and has been teaching in the South Allegheny School District for 17 years.
Her Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education was acquired at Duquesne University. She also holds a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education.
When she is not helping with High School Band activities or teaching at the Elementary School, she enjoys gardening and crafting.
