Band Parent Organization

Perhaps the greatest single resource our Band Program has is the Band Parent organization. This is a volunteer organization whose membership is open to all parents and guardians of band members. Membership and participation is highly encouraged.

The Band Parents provide support for the Band Program in many ways, from fundraising to chaperoning. It is also an important aspect of the band in the way that it shows the students that someone cares so much for them to give their time and efforts to help them achieve success.

Get Involved!

I want to encourage all the band parents to help our children and our band in any way possible for the upcoming 2012-2013 band season. We need not only your time and hands on volunteering, but even more importantly is the input of your ideas and suggestions. Let's all get involved!

Our band requires year-round planning and fund raising even when school is not in session and I feel that the band parents need to stay in touch constantly. For this reason I am asking for all band parents of freshmen through seniors to please submit your email address -- whether it's your personal or a business address, if your are permitted to -- to me, so we can keep in touch with important issues that may need addressed in between our regular monthly meetings during this summer and the upcoming school year. Those parents who do not have easy access to a computer, please contact me. I will make note, so I can contact you personally by phone when something is in need of your attention.
