Other Information
New band students will be awarded their Band Letter at Camp.
The Band picture will be taken during the first week of Band Camp. The students will have their individual picture taken also as part of the large group photo for the band room. There is NO obligation for the students to purchase any pictures.
Band students may purchase their Band Jacket in the fall. The salesman from LeWay Athletics will measure and take deposits ($75.00) on Sept. 4. The cost is approx. $125.00. They are usually delivered 3-5 weeks later.
The band marches in several local Halloween parades and the students DO NOT wear their band uniforms for these parades but rather they are permitted to dress-up for these parades. The idea is to be creative with their costumes, not risqué!
The Band Banquet is held every year usually on the evening before the school picnic. This year it will be held held at Dave & Busters. All H.S. Band students, parents and their friends are invited and encouraged to attend. The HS Band students dinners are free. All others are charged a minimal fee.
